Interior Glyptothek Museum Greece
Ny Carlsberg Glyptothek museum featuring Greek columns and marble statues, one of the largest collections of Roman art outside Italy, with a large collection of Egyptian sculpture to 5000 years, the collection Etruscian, some rooms with paintings made by famous painters such as Van Gogh, Rodin and Gaugin, crypt with real mummies, marble chamber concerts in the classical style, art, architecture, painting and sculpture from the East, France, Denmark and Italy, marble walls and staircases, vaults and more. Glyptotek Carlsberg beer is owned by the foundation. At first private art collections owned by Carlsberg's founder Carl Jacobsen, but moved to the current building in 1897. As seen there is also a rooftop garden with city views!
When you enter Glyptothek, you arrive at a large winter garden in the historic architecture with tall palm trees, floor mosaics, sculptures, domes, fountains and animals. Winter garden itself is worth a visit. From there you can enter a different division. In the atrium there is a restaurant and gift shop. There is also a basement with preserved mummies from Egypt several thousand years! And free to visit Glyptothek on Sunday!
